I feel like Chase was given a bit of a 1940s Veronica Lake look

if you freeze it multiple times his little blocker that comes out of batmans hand it hits him right in the balls as he jumps into him. You never would see it when its in full speed you just knew he blocked his attack and the guy didn't eh succeed.

Unpopular opinion, but this is fucking stupid. Why didn't the dad let Clark be the one to go save the people pretending he was normal? Why couldn't Clark run slightly faster than a normal guy to save his dad? Why didn't the dad actually try to run to safety towards the end? Dumb and illogical decisions all around.

I never liked that JC’s style was just going from face to face. When they give his character emotional depth it can be great. Hated this movie but liked it more on every subsequent watch. There’s something potentially amazing about this riddler and we’ll probably never see it try again. I don’t even know what actor could do it.

I *hated* this movie when I saw the Theatrical Cut (my opinion has improved since the Director’s Cut), but even back then I couldn’t write off the movie completely because this is probably the best Batman sequence in any media ever. My jaw was on the floor. And it still is! The scene holds up!

I'm still pissed that we didn't get a Batfleck film...I was on board the moment I saw the first images of Ben in costume. I loved how gritty his take was on the character and could only imagine what he could do with the character, if he had stayed on. Damn shame...

I heard Robert Patrick practiced shooting without blinking for weeks, to get ready for this scene. I saw James Cameron saying that he was impressed with how Patrick could shoot so fast, without blinking, and be so accurate.
